Ideation & Formulation
The ideation phase is all about crafting a conceptual formula for your desired results. Sometimes clients come ready with a formula. Other times, they’ll have us engineer the formula. Either way, we’ll work with you to transform your ideas into a unique and compelling product. If you can dream it, we can make it.

Bench-Top Sampling
With your conceptual formula in hand, our experts will produce what’s called a “bench-top sample” of your product for your review. Flavor, size, texture, and all other variables will be proofed at this time. But before we can start pilot batching the formula, the sample is taken into our laboratory for intensive quality testing.

Laboratory Testing
There’s a reason the Deseret Labs’ micro, physical, and analytical laboratories are industry-acclaimed. Run by chemists, microbiologists, and experienced technicians, the laboratory is where quality results are assured. At critical points in the production process your product will be tested for identity, purity, hardness, friability, disintegration, dissolution, and label-claim compliance.

Pilot Batching
Once you are satisfied with the bench-top samples, and testing is complete, we will produce a 10 kg pilot batch of your product to ensure that it will perform as expected on the full-scale production equipment.

Production & Packaging
With the completion of the successful Pilot Batch of your product, we are prepared to proceed with the production and packaging of your commercial product or clinical supply in the forms that you specify.
